“An absolutely 5 star experience. We came for a wedding and ended up here every night. Food is fantastic and service was so professional and friendly. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, even though were were not residents of the hotel itself. Wine list was really good and reasonably priced. Location is ideal being so close to Oban with public transport stopping right outside the hotel. We look forward to returning and staying at the hotel in the future.”
“We have stayed at the falls of lora when in the area for work for a good few years now. As far as I'm concerned, there's no better hotel for miles around. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is always spot on and the views, well they speak for themselves. Obviously, you would need a room on the front to enjoy the views!”
“Stayed one night for a wedding. Hotel was able to accommodate our 2 dogs. The bedroom was clean, comfy, warm. It was perfect for changing, relaxing and containing the dogs. There's a handy back door for getting in & out with dogs without having to trek a wet animal through the entire place/early morning walks. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, and took pains to make the wedding reception experience really welcoming. And the location of the hotel is beautiful. The gardens across the road from the hotel are peaceful and lovely, and the dogs enjoyed a quick dip in the sea too. It's also a 2 minute walk from the train station and has a decent amount of parking for cars. Can't praise it enough.”
“Just back from the weekend at the falls of lora hotel. Our stay was really good, room perfect, staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you .the big fire in the dining room was a strong vocal point best I've seen. The hotel was very clean and full of history from different cultures which I found really interesting, food was excellent and was very busy during dinner time would highly recommend trying it .would also like to say Elle was a fantastic host, and making a list of places to visit which we did awesome experience. Will definitely be back in the coming months. Thanks again from Alan and Margaret MacDougall. X”
“The room we have is beautiful with a ensuite you could dance in not just squeeze through the door into. A lovely seating area to sit and read or look out over the loch view. You can enjoy a tea or coffee or even a drink from the bar.The room is clean and well kept. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace with a drink on returning to the hotel after our days out before getting ready for our evening meal. The food here is excellent definitely recommend. The staff are all lovely and I would definitely recommend you come to stay here if you're coming to this area of Scotland.”
